"To be or not to be? That is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or to bare arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing them, end them!" -Hamlet, Shakespeare-
Are we free to make our own choices in life? ...or are we limited by the rules of society?
Whether or not we like it, we are all subject to the views and opinions of society, but just because we are subject to them does not necessarily mean , we are BOUND by them....does it?
In the end, our decisions affect ourselves more than society? no?
"Life is short, Art Long, Opportunity fleeting, Experience Treacherous and Judgement Difficult"- Hypocrites
To always make the right decisions isn't the easiest thing to do. But I think that most people make an effort to make the decisions that they feel will best impact their lives. The rules of society need not be a limitation.
Why should I refrain from doing something I enjoy if society has a problem with it?
After all, we all come to this world alone...and we leave alone. So what we do in our lives should be our business as long as it's not affecting society on the larger scheme of things...right?
Rules are mean't to be broken....yes?
It's like Bob Marley said in a song "we all gotta' right to our own destiny!"
